Nou ja, nazomeren kun je het eigenlijk niet noemen aangezien het voelt alsof de zomer nu pas is begonnen! Kortom we hebben heerlijk weer. De nachten zijn alwel weer koel en er wordt alweer volop geadverteerd voor snowblowers dus de herfst met hopelijk een mooie indian summer is in aantocht. We zijn nog steeds druk doende met de uitbouw. De aannemer is klaar dus nu zijn het Bart en ik die alles moeten afronden aan de binnenkant. We zijn begonnen met de vloer beneden toen Jan en Ria hier nog waren. Jan heeft de tegels samen met Bart gelegd. Bart en ik hebben het gevoegd en vooral de tegels veel moeten poetsen….Toen we hier kwamen wonen, hebben we ook zo’n vloer gelegd en toen zeiden we achteraf eens en nooit weer…Nu weten we weer waarom maar als je het resultaat ziet dan is al het harde werk weer vergeten. Het schilderwerk is klaar en we zijn nu druk bezig de houtvoorraad uit de garage weg te werken. Het eerste hout zit ondertussen tegen de muren beneden in onze nieuwe ‘sunroom’. In het weekend gaan we een begin maken met de rest van onze houtvoorraad (het schrootjes plafond en de houten vloer in onze nieuwe slaapkamer). Volgende keer foto’s……

Tussen al deze klussen door moet er natuurlijk ook voor Lynn gezorgd worden. Ze is inmiddels de 5 kilo ruim gepasseerd (5300 gram) en zo,n 57 cm lang. Lynn is een hele makkelijke baby (tot nu toe). Ze kijkt erg graag naar de rond draaiende visjes boven haar schommelstoel. Ze slaapt erg goed in de nacht. Ze zal wel denken dat ze haar mama genoeg slaap moet geven anders kan er niet geschilderd worden en komt de aanbouw nooit af! Ze slaapt ook een lange periode gedurende de dag en voor de rest is ze wakker. Ze begint al flink te lachen en ze houdt heel erg van badderen in de tummy tub, mits ze een volle buik heeft! Ze is alweer 2 maanden oud en de tijd gaat ontzettend snel. Onderaan nog een aantal foto’s van afgelopen week.

Over 2 weken zijn oma Jenni en opa Jan hier voor 2 weken en oma Ria en opa Jan hebben nog gauw een vluchtje geregeld voor de herfstvakantie! Bart en ik gaan onze paspoorten verlengen zodat ik met een geldig paspoort in januari (!) naar Nederland kan reizen. Lynn gaat met mij mee en daar ben ik nu een Canadees paspoort voor aan het aanvragen. Lynn heeft zowel de Candadese als de Nederlandse nationaliteit en mag daarom in elk geval tot haar 18e 2 paspoorten hebben. Nu heb ik geprobeerd een Nederlands paspoort aan te vragen maar dit gaat meer dan 4 maanden duren dus dat risico neem ik maar niet, daar wachten we nog maar even mee. Lynn komt dus als Canadeesje naar Nederland.
